There’s something about a fall wedding at King Cole Farm in Dover, DE that feels effortlessly romantic—and Connor and Courtney’s day was exactly that. Instead of the typical crisp autumn air, the day held onto a soft, lingering warmth, with golden light stretching beautifully into the evening. It created the kind of atmosphere that felt calm, joyful, and completely unhurried from beginning to end.

From the moment the day started, everything about their wedding felt intentional in the best way—focused not just on how it looked, but how it felt. And that’s what made it so special to capture.

The morning began quietly, with those slower, in-between moments that often end up meaning the most. Courtney spent the early part of the day getting ready surrounded by her favorite people, laughter mixing with a few emotional moments as everything started to feel real.

Meanwhile, Connor’s side of the morning had that same easygoing energy—nothing rushed, just genuine excitement building for what was ahead.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was Connor and Courtney’s first look. Away from the crowd, they had a moment to fully take everything in together—and it showed in every photo. It was equal parts emotional and grounding, setting the tone for the rest of the day.

Their portraits followed, and this is where that warm fall light really showed off. The soft glow, the subtle hints of autumn in the background—it all came together in a way that felt natural and timeless. Nothing felt forced, just the two of them being fully present with each other.

Their ceremony was heartfelt and full of meaning—the kind where you could feel how deeply loved and supported Connor and Courtney are by everyone around them. One of the most touching moments was a beautiful tribute to Courtney’s late father. As the ceremony began, Connor placed the first flower, followed by each bridesmaid and groomsman who took a turn placing a single flower on the dedicated chair in his honor—a quiet, intentional gesture that didn’t go unnoticed.

It was one of those moments that felt incredibly still and emotional, a way of including him in such an important part of the day. Every glance, every tear, every soft smile throughout the ceremony spoke volumes about the love surrounding them.

As the evening began, the celebration shifted into full swing. The energy picked up, the dance floor filled, and the joy in the room was undeniable.

But just before sunset, we snuck away for a few more portraits—and this might have been one of my favorite parts of the entire day. The light was soft, golden, and perfectly warm—wrapping everything in that dreamy glow you just can’t replicate. It was the perfect ending to an already incredible day.
